The orphan child and his need for attention and love
9:47:47 2024-04-01 1076

The orphan child's deprivation of his father’s love and affection is considered a great matter in the world of childhood, and one of the most important duties of people towards orphans who are children of martyrs is to care for them, caress them, and wipe the hand of love and tenderness over their heads; Because the child needs it, and it is necessary for his psychological development, and in order to create motivations that make him move forward in developing himself and building his future in a mature manner.

When an orphan child feels that hearts are beating for him, he will walk on the path of life with strength and manhood, and will have more courage to move in life’s situations and obstacles, thus crossing the path of adulthood. He is sensing the interest of those around him and enjoying their tenderness and love, and one of the most important pillars of dealing with the orphan child is:

First: Paying attention to his feelings, such as being kind to him by kissing and hugging him, and offering him greetings.

Second: Respecting the personalities of orphans and not humiliating them or despising them helps in strengthening their personalities so that they will be fully prepared to solve many problems and difficulties in the future of their lives.

Third: Making a day to celebrate the orphan (a national, religious, or humanitarian occasion) so that he does not feel the loss of his parents, or his memory of his father or mother is stirred up and makes him sad. During the celebrations, they must be honored for their activities and achievements, whether for their academic excellence or in some other areas of life, such as sports, drawing, or other professions.

Fourth: Not exploiting their need for money in illegal or forbidden ways that leads to deviance and crime.

Fifth: That the guardian of orphans and the guardian of their rights and property should remember the words of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family): “Be to the orphan like a merciful father, and know that as you sow, so will you reap.”
