How to be socially popular (2)

Do not let your day pass without winning hearts that you will add to the balance of your social relationships. This depends on the initiative you give to others in helping them, and your way of respecting them and not hurting their feelings. Therefore, we place in your hands these lamps to light your path to happiness in society by winning the hearts of others and gaining their love.

- Smiling and cheerfulness are cords of affection: After smiling, hasten to ask others about their conditions and repeatedly welcome them and interact with them with anecdotes and jokes. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) said: “Your smile at your brother is charity.”

- Hasten to say the greeting: Peace... What a wonderful, great word that all souls love, and it comes out of the mouth of one of us verbally to settle in the hearts of others. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you Love one another. Shall I not tell you something that if you do it, you will love one another? Spread peace among yourselves.”

- Be generous with gifts; the gift, no matter how simple, has a profound effect on people, to the point that it was said on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family): “Have peace and love with one another, for a gift eliminates grudges.”

- Humility is the magic of love: A person who is easy to forgive and gentle is always loved, but an arrogant person who is difficult to deal with is a reason for others to stay away from him, and remember this wise saying: “The arrogant person is like someone standing on a mountain who sees people as small and they see him as small.”

Be promising and positive: Make sure to spread positivity wherever you are and stay away from spreading disturbing and ominous news that frustrates and saddens others. Souls that are thirsty for hope gather around those who instill optimism in them and give them good tidings of ease after hardship.

- Give up argument and fruitless discussion: One of the causes of hatred is argument, bullying, and trying to control the other by criticizing him and belittling his opinions. Give up argument and useless discussion and explain your opinions in a scientific manner, far from emotions.
