Dealing with naughty children and how to reform them
11:26:46 2024-11-13 539

One of the behavioral difficulties that parents and educators face in raising children is the issue of children's unruliness. The unruly child brings harm to himself and others in different ways and methods, and the danger lies in if his behavior is associated with violence and cruelty. The unruly child hits, destroys and smashes; to address this situation, the following should be followed:

First: Awareness: The purpose of awareness is to clarify the correct behaviors and actions. It is taken for granted that the child is born ignorant of life's affairs and its principles, and the duty of educating and raising him falls on the shoulders of parents, educators and teachers. Otherwise, no good or good can be expected from him.

Second: Guidance: The child's behavior and actions must be monitored, and he must be guided and directed in cases where he tries to get out of balance by explaining to him, for example, that a certain behavior is wrong and should be avoided. There is no harm in repeating observations and giving directions in this area. Their impact increases in the event of building emotional and intimate relationships with the child.

Third: Clarification: The child must be made aware, when he does something wrong, that what he did is wrong and unacceptable, and he should refrain from it, and not return to it again.

Fourth: Encouraging play: In some cases, encouraging children to play is of great importance in this area, provided that they are placed under supervision so that they do not cause harm and damage; because through play they learn lessons in discipline, morals, and humanity, and in the principles of dealing and coexistence with others.

Fifth: Asking for an apology: Parents and educators must ask the naughty child to apologize to the child who caused him harm. If he refuses to apologize, he must be punished by expelling him and not allowing him to continue playing with others. Pressuring the child and forcing him to apologize, and returning the thing he took by force to its owner, will bring him back to his senses and senses.
