Instead of blaming yourself / fix your mistakes
There are two types of people: among them are those who make mistakes and do not care, and those who are on the contrary fear that they will make a mistake and do not take action, and if they make a mistake they flog themselves with whips of reprimand and admonition.
The first class; He may repeat the mistake ten times, and fall into the same hole twenty times without indifference or interest in the consequences of things.
As for the second class; He often does not do any work for fear of slipping into a mistake, and if he makes a mistake, he blames himself and reproaches to the point of harming and belittling himself.
Of course, both types are wrong, but what is required is a matter between the two things: that is, to avoid the mistake before it occurs and not to repeat it if it occurs, and self-blaming here may be feasible, but provided that it does not exceed its reasonable limits, and is not an obstacle to human activity and effectiveness in public life.
We must therefore strive as much as possible, and work as much as possible. If we are right in our work, we will get two privileges, and if we make a mistake, we have one privilege. As for retiring from work for fear of making a mistake, it will lead to missing opportunities. Even the greats who have achieved a great historical position s were not without mistakes, for all human beings make mistakes and only Allah does not make mistakes... So why do you strive for your works to be perfect without mistakes?
Here you may ask: What are the necessary steps then?
And the answer: you do the following:
First: Take action even though you might make a mistake. Instead of avoiding actions because you might slip up, do the work and try to avoid making a mistake.
Second: Take the lesson from your past mistakes and then forget them completely, for your Lord is Forgiving, Most Merciful, He will forgive you.
Third: Constantly developing your work, so do not devote mistakes without seeking to fix them. If you try something and fail in it, repeat the attempt on the second day with determination to amend and reform, because failure is the result of wrong premises, and if you do not change them, the result will definitely not be in your favor.
Fourth: Stop directing blame and scolding yourself, because just as blame does not work with others, it does not work with oneself either!
You must always advance steadily, without malice or fear, but with strong and deep confidence that you will say the right words, and do the right thing, at the right time, so that it produces the right result. With this self-confidence, determination to take the right attitude, and do the right work, you will achieve success and avoid mistakes.
In other words, what is required is not abandoning the work, nor repeating the mistake in it, but rather to work while striving to avoid mistakes, and this is what all the righteous and successful people do in life.
