Marital happiness is something that is highly desired, especially since it is reflected on the entire family. Although happiness is created from within a person, it may come from other people, such as the wife. You are responsible for making your husband happy, and you must follow the following:
First: Do not burden your husband with more than he can bear. Allah Almighty said: {Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity}. Do not crowd your desires, and do not pile up your requests all at once, so that your husband does not become exhausted and run away from you.
Second: Maintain your beauty, elegance, freshness of health, grace of movements, and sweetness of speech. Do not speak in a hoarse voice or say what is not liked.
Third: Maintain your religiousness in reality and appearance, adhere to the Islamic hijab, and do not be lenient in letting anyone see anything of your body, even a fleeting glance, because your husband is jealous for you and is keen that no one sees you except those who are permitted to see you.
Fourth: Beautify yourself for your husband before he comes home in the evening, so he sees you in the best condition, wear clean, appropriate clothes, and use whatever perfumes he likes.
Fifth: Do not be busy with housework to the exclusion of your husband, so that all the cooking, cleaning, and organizing work appears when he comes home tired and exhausted; he does not see you except in the kitchen or in cleaning and work clothes! Do these tasks in his absence.
Sixth: Do not transfer your household problems to your family, lest you incite your family against your husband. Rather, solve those problems by cooperating with your husband.
