Despite what has been said about the positive aspects of fathers and their constructive role, children may sometimes look at them in a negative light and hate them, when the father fails to deal with his child and despises himself.
Some fathers resort to dealing only from a position of power and authority with their children in order to fear and dread him. They may sometimes use violence and destroy the child’s character in front of his friends.
We know that parents are not hostile to their children, but rather resort to these methods for their own good and well-being, but the child never likes these methods.
This is the reason for many problems that exist between parents and their children, especially when they are young adults, as the child feels that he has become strong and capable and there is no need to give in to his father or surrender to his ideas, and that he is right in his actions and has not committed any sin or mistake and must oppose his father.
The father must exercise his role in a way that makes the child believe in his justice and compassion. This requires that the father always monitor his actions. He must also realize that his advantage over his son is due to his knowledge, ability, and extending a helping hand to him. Not to his might and strength.
