Be a Good Evaluator of Suggestions and Solutions
10:48:36 2025-06-03 2458

When you need to choose one solution or suggestion from several options, resort to the method of listing the suggestions and examining the pros and cons of each. This method, known in research as “Pros and Cons”, helps your mind function more effectively and enables you to arrive at the best suggestion or solution.

Follow these six steps when analyzing possibilities or choices:

  1. Make a list or draft of all the suggestions, solutions, or possibilities available to you.
  2. Write down the expected advantages next to each suggestion.
  3. Write down the expected disadvantages next to each suggestion.
  4. Review what you’ve written after ensuring that all possibilities, with their pros and cons, have been considered. Take your time, and you may also assign a success probability or preference percentage to each suggestion—like 30%, 80%, or 97%.
  5. At this point, you should have reached a decision or chosen what seems to be the most correct option with the least risk or the fewest disadvantages and chances of failure.
  6. Now commit to the suggestion that seems most correct, that has the highest chance of success and the least amount of risk. Proceed with confidence and determination, trusting in God Almighty.
