Do not forget graciousness between you
8:24:24 2024-08-23 1943

Allah the Almighty said in Surat Al-Baqarah: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful {And do not forget graciousness between you}

A nice Quranic rule that contains within its folds solid guidance for a problem that may be the subject of disputes and violation of sanctities between quarreling spouses after intimacy and affection.

We mention some of the benefits that this noble verse contains:

- In this blessed verse, there is an address to all Muslims not to forget the human ideals of forgiveness, pardon, and altruism in all cases.

- A reminder to the minds not to be carried away by the whims of emotions and the desire for revenge, browsing in the mind the sacred bonds of intimacy, respect, harmony and altruism between spouses.

- A reason for continuing modesty and chastity, keeping secrets, softening the side, lowering the wing, and not mentioning the negatives of each party with flimsy motives.

- Always keeping the door open to return again and reunite, as mentioning the virtue of the husband or wife soothes the thoughts and restores things to their proper place, as happened to many spouses after working on the principle of the noble verse.
