When the children’s hyperactivity is a problem that need to be solved .
Many families suffer from their children’s hyperactivity , especially in their first years and approximately until the age of nine . The child is either running in the house , playing with the kitchen tools and machines , repairing equipment , playing in the yard and climbing the walls…
And it might be dangerous to him, like hurting a part of his body or losing it (Allah forbid ), and this worries the parents and educators generally, and even teachers suffer from the hyper activity of some of their students …
So when it is normal or abnormal?, we need to let a psychiatrist or family practitioner see him, and there are some recommendations to treat them accordingly :
Comparing and observation: note his behavior in (house), (school), (parks)or (among siblings) , compare his attitude and if he was unstable, hyperactive with a raise of aimless actions, there is an issue !!
Ask him to do some simple and useful activities multiple times ; like , watering the plants, help with the dishes or washing the car , and if he gets bored quickly, fail to do the chores, and disregard our commands , that means ‘stabilization difficulty’ .
When the attention deficit and impaired focus continues , whether in the house , school or anywhere else ’without any real distractors’ , and the child doesn’t pay attention , hardly understands or doing reckless and crazy actions , without any consideration for the consequences .
It feels weird not to be satisfied with what he has , and wants what his brothers or friends have . lack of contentment or satisfaction is a sign of a psychological issue ; like refusing everything, and stays upset and sad until he gets what he wants , then ignore what he received .
Such children gets bored by the games that need mental concentration , while their desire decrease to the games that doesn’t need that .
