Spicy food is one of the most important food favorites for many people, as they cannot eat food unless they add a hot ingredient that gives a “spicy” flavor to the food, such as chili, black pepper, etc.

This spicy food, according to a report published on the Sunway Medical website, has many health benefits provided that the person eats it in a proper manner. Despite the health benefits of spicy food, eating it must be strictly regulated so that the person who eats it does not suffer from many health problems. For example, they may suffer from severe infections of the lips and mouth, and may suffer from major stomach problems as a result of excessive consumption of spicy food. Patients with intestinal ulcers, for example, suffer greatly from any spicy ingredient.

The report continued, advising the necessity of rationing the consumption of spicy food because it may cause a clear increase in nasal secretions and runny nose, in addition to significantly increasing heartburn and inflammation of the stomach. It also changes the nature of excretion, causing a person to suffer from a potentially annoying state of diarrhea.

One of the most prominent health benefits of spicy food is that it helps relieve some inflammation and pain in the body, especially if the person consumes it in a healthy way and in small quantities. It helps relieve joint pain. It has also been found to have a good effect on patients with autoimmune psoriasis, in addition to the natural antioxidants it contains that help reduce inflammation and improvement of the body's condition, strength and freshness in general.

Spicy food also enhances weight gain control because it makes one feel full and thus reduces weight. It also helps burn calories and greatly enhances the elimination of allergies. The report added that spicy food increases blood circulation in the body well, as well. It enhances the metabolism and fat burning process, which helps in the optimal representation of food and the maximum benefit from its elements.

Therefore, the report advises eating spicy foods, but with strict control and avoiding excessive consumption of them.
