The relationship between the school principal, the teachers and the students undoubtedly determines the extent of the school’s development in general, the professional and social development of the teachers, and the serious work of the students to develop their personalities and ensure their success and their pursuit of a better future. The principal must not underestimate the status of teachers, their efforts, their roles, and their status as members of the educational teaching staff.

On the other hand, teachers should not underestimate the value and position of the principal.

The principal must possess the following basic skills:

First: The skill of forming relationships and making communications that achieve the goals that the principal seeks in the school: This means that the principal must be characterized by the skill of winning and accepting the teachers, and the ability to form relationships and communications between himself and the teachers on a positive professional basis, and for them all to cooperate to accomplish what is in the interests of the school, its teachers, and its students.

Second: The skill of participating with the group: This means that the school principal must have the skill of identifying assumptions, interpretations, and modifications that are related to his role in the school group. That is, the principal must explain to the teachers all of his educational opinions and explain them to them in a clear way. He must have the communication and social ability that enables him to solve problems that may arise between teachers, between students, or between teachers and students.

Third: The skill of taking advantage of the school’s capabilities: This skill means that the principal can communicate with teachers and help them know the resources and capabilities that they benefit from in achieving their school activity, in addition to helping them benefit from the services provided by other agencies and institutions to the school. .

Fourth: Evaluation skill: This skill is necessary and necessary and must be one of the qualities that characterizes the school principal so that he can record the growth and development of the teaching staff through following up on its efforts.
