It seems obvious, but showing love doesn't come naturally to some parents. If the father or mother was not treated with love and affection when they were young or if they were busy with other responsibilities and concerns, then showing love would not always be a priority or instinct for them. Moreover, if you are shy or your parents are shy, you will not feel comfortable expressing yourself properly.
Showing love begins with praise. Praise does not always come naturally, but praising a child properly has great benefits. Praise is simply positive feedback for a job well done with a description of what your child has done – “You did a great job cleaning my car today” or “It was nice of you to thank Grandma for the cookies she made you”. But do not use hollow and empty praise such as: “You are the best girl in the world” or “You are my favorite son”, as it sends the wrong signals and leads the child to expect that he will be rewarded simply for his presence in life, as the child needs to feel that he is tired in order to get On praise and it deserves positive attention.
After you have indicated the positive behavior, give your child a moral reward, such as saying, "Aren't you happy because you made your grandmother feel loved and appreciated?" And if you want to show love in a sensual way by cuddling or patting the shoulder, you have every right to do so.
Your child will get a huge boost with this kind of praise. Shy children often feel that they are not as successful as their peers or that they are ignored simply because they do not cause many apparent problems. Therefore, noticing their good behavior and rewarding them for it makes them build confidence in their abilities and feel that they have all the resources and means necessary to achieve success.
