Global Health on Corona: It is no longer an emergency

The World Health Organization declared that Covid-19 is no longer a global health emergency.

The General Director of the world health organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said: "It is with great hope that I declare the end of COVID-19 as a global health emergency ... but that does not mean that it has ended as a threat to global health,"

The organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020, leading to worldwide lockdowns and travel restrictions.

And there have been more than 6 million COVID-related deaths worldwide since then.
